I am a globally awarded CEO by the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) as well as the United Nations (UN) for the project „Soaps with Dots“. In 2020, I received, together with my team, the Golden World Contribution award for the sustainable development number 10, defined by the United Nations – reducing inequalities.
Behind me are more than thirty years of experience, working on more than 400 projects in the fields of PR, business development, branding, crisis communication and event management. Furthermore, I was able to gain practical experience in an international background – in cities such as Tokyo, Doha, Istanbul, London and Milan as well as many other important hubs among our globe, cooperating with world-renowned brands such as Shiseido, HIPP, Pfanner, Qatar Post, Waqood, Ajans Press, Westco by Westminster Council, Scottish Government, Bayer Pharmaceutical, Levi’s and many more.
Being an internationally recognized consultant in the field of strategic communication management comes with new responsibilities – emphasizing the importance of reducing inequalities, but also sharing my expertise. My love for sharing knowledge is a constant motor that has led to me becoming director of the London School of Public Relations and a certified consultant for the
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
I am founder of PRO. PR Conference, the leading conference specialised on Public Relations in South Eastern Europe. The PRO. PR Globe Awards is the only program in the world that is dedicated to rewarding individuals, rather than projects in the field of communications and is supported by four notable associations: IPRA (International Public Relations Association), PRCA (Public Relations and Communications Association), ICCO (International Communication Consultancy Organisation) and CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations).
Being a Croatian citizen, I am also dedicated to contributing to the growth of my community, hence the reason why I founded „Slavonika“, a national agricultural conference. The Agro StartUp project founded by me was promoted by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as a unique project. Due to a lack of education in the field of EU funds, I also decided to start a project management school for EU projects.
In addition to my projects, I have also published various articles and written „PR On My Way“, a book with examples of PR practice. I am also proud to be columnist for Diplomacy & Commerce, a magazine established by The Economist. Currently, I hold the position of Secretary-General of the World Innovation and Change Management Institute.
I started my career as the executive producer of the Eurovision winner and composer, Rajko Dujmić. After that, I worked as the director of numerous events of major national importants such as the WTA Croatia Ladies’ Open $ 175,000, Croatia Golf Championship, famous pop festival Split ’97 and Supermodel of the World – Croatia. Additionally, I was producer and author of numerous concerts and television shows. Activities in the field of television production and event management have lead to a career in the field of PR where I am trying to improve on a daily basis.
To me, life is a circle of energy and creating, of giving and receiving. From the very start of my career, social responsibility as well as fundraising projects have been incredibly important to me and I dedicated years of work to them with great pleasure. Together with my team, I launched, coordinated, advised and raised funds for various projects such as: renovation of the house of the first Croatian Nobel laureate, Lavoslav Ružička, project Dolphin’s Dream – a list of flora and fauna of the Croatian Adriatic, Top Scholarships for Top Students – a project that lasted for 10 years and changed the law on scholarships.
At last, I would like to point out my most recent fundraising project for the Association of the Blind of Sisak-Moslavina County after the recent earthquake which left many people roofless, damaging more than 40.000 buildings. Donating money is good, but what I consider to be more valuable is donating knowledge and time in order to offer sustainable help to those in need.
