Requirements & Guidelines

To enroll for the Youth Business Camp, please read our enrolment process carefully. The camp is intended for young people between the ages of 15 to 19. Depending on the age group, students will be appropriately assigned to a mentoring group. Once the application is submitted, the student will receive an appointment for a 10-minute online interview. After the interview, if accepted, the student will receive an acceptance letter.

Aside from the signed contract, the student is required to submit the following documentation:

  • B2 level of English according to Common European Framework of Reference. We accept certificates (FCE, TOEFL, IELTS, Pearson etc.) and/or reference letters written by an accredited English teacher at their institution.
  • Doctor’s confirmation that the student has no illnesses that prevent him from carrying out camp activities.
  • Health insurance valid during their stay in Switzerland.

For minors, all documentation should be signed by their parents.

Cell phones are only allowed once a day, accept on Sundays. To be exact, from Monday through Friday, cell phones will be allowed from 8:30h until 9:00h and from 18:30h until 21:30h. On Sundays the participants can use their cell phones from 14h until 17h. This is to ensure an optimal learning efficiency and focus of our students.

If parents want to visit their children, they can do so every day before and after dinner time.

Participants will have to keep a dictionary of economic terms on a daily basis as part of the curriculum. It is helpful for each student to have a laptop or tablet so that they can take digital notes.
